A piece

of Federica

I’m Federica, an Italian artist and product designer based in London.
I grew up in a small, almost paradisiacal place surrounded by two lakes—a landscape that quietly shaped my sensitivity to colour, light, and beauty from an early age.

Today, my work lives in a bold, vibrant, and graphic visual language. I create colourful illustrations and collage-based pieces for people who love to celebrate colour in their everyday lives.

Before moving fully into illustration, I studied makeup, an experience that deeply influenced my understanding of beauty, detail, and the human form. People remain at the centre of my practice—bodies and portraits are recurring subjects, often explored through life drawing and collage.

After graduating in Graphic Design and Art Direction, I moved to London, where I’ve had the opportunity to experiment, evolve, and expand my practice, particularly as a product designer, applying my illustrations to everyday objects.

Alongside my personal work, I also run collage workshops across the city, sharing my process and encouraging others to explore creativity!

Exhibitions

In 2024 and 2025, I exhibited a selection of life drawings in the group show Drawing Humans at XYZ Gallery in Chancery Lane, London. I also had the opportunity to show my work in the Connect 24 exhibition at the Art of Isolation Gallery.

Life model

I’ve posed for several artists and life drawing classes around London and have truly enjoyed the experience. This has included sessions with artists such as Connie Lim and Frank Gambino, as well as life drawing class at venues like Mall Galleries.

I’m available for portrait and full-figure sessions, including both short and long poses. Feel free to reach out for any potential collaborations.
